Job Title: Day-to-Day Manager

Location: Chicago, IL, New York, Hybrid

Overview: We are seeking an experienced Day-to-Day Manager to join our artist management team. In this pivotal role, you will be a primary point of contact for clients and responsible for overseeing all of the day-to-day operational and administrative tasks that enable clients to focus on their creative work. You will also spearhead special projects and provide project management support across the team. This position requires a deep understanding of both artist relations, record label processes, and touring, along with exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

Expected Breakdown of Time & Focus:
● 30% Client Support (liaising between team members, booking travel, communicating with venues, contractors)
● 30% Marketing + Social media
● 30% Admin Support (client calendar management, maintaining assets database)
● 10% Other

Key Responsibilities:
● Key point of contact for clients; establishing relationships and communicating effectively on their behalf to the team & outside world
● Assisting in the marketing efforts behind album releases and tours; running point on press & online campaigns
● Managing internal office and client calendars, travel documents, touring/promo itineraries and show production as needed
● Maintaining an organized database of client assets/media, following established internal processes for file management
● Determining and acting upon artist and company needs with little guidance
● Maintaining artist websites and socials; implementing new social strategy
● Managing song and setlist registrations and publishing catalogues
● Assisting with and often writing and designing external publications including newsletters, tour announcements and other documents
● Managing webstore maintenance
● Responding to and managing inbound requests

What you’ll need to be successful at Team Spirit:
● Highly organized with keen attention to detail
● Capable of managing multiple projects at the same time with accuracy and timeliness
● Love of art and artists, and turning intangible ideas into tangible outcomes
● Able to identify problems, prioritize, and solve them in a timely manner
● Strong communication skills, both oral and written
● Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, Canva, Dropbox/Google Drive, Notion, GoogleWorkspace.
● Motivated to working non-traditional hours when required
● Prior artist management experience preferred

Qualifications & Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in music business, business administration, marketing, communications, or a related field preferred
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years in artist / record label functions. Demonstrated experience with scheduling, touring, release planning, budgeting
Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with excellent organizational and time-management skills
Technical Skills: Proficient with office software (Microsoft Office, GoogleWorkspace)
Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Comfortable acting as point of contact for artists and external partners
Interpersonal Skills: Diplomatic and effective in high-pressure situations. Able to balance business needs with artistic vision
Detail-Oriented: Meticulous about organization and documentation, ensuring no task falls through the cracks
Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing industry environment
